Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition has been announced for current consoles and will launch in April.
First revealed for Nintendo Switch during the newest Nintendo Direct - and later confirmed by Square Enix as also releasing on PlayStation 4 - the PS1 classic Chrono Cross has been remastered with HD models and quality-of-life updates, and will launch digitally on 7 April.
Updates to the game - which has never been released in Europe before - include a new soundtrack, character and artwork redesigns, an auto-battle function, new localisations, the ability to turn off enemy encounters, and more. Players can also choose between the new and original visuals when playing.
The Radical Dreamers Edition also includes the text-based adventure game Radical Dreamers: Le Trésor Interdit, which forms the base of the game's story and was only ever released for the Satellaview in 1996.
