Nintendo has announced that the first games in Japan's Yo-kai Watch Busters series will launch in Europe and North America this September.

Following on from the release of three Yo-kai Watch 2 games for Nintendo 3DS last year, Nintendo and LEVEL-5 are continuing the steady stream of games with the localisation of the Yo-kai Watch Busters games.

The first two in the series will be called Yo-kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and Yo-kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad in Europe and North America, and will launch in both regions on 7 September.

Yo-kai Watch Blasters lets up to four players team up together to fight Big Bosses in local play and online, using powerful skills and Soultimate Moves to defeat enemies in real-time battles.

Players directly control their Yo-kai and can use skills and equipment to create battle strategies while taking on missions, training Yo-kai, and befriending Yo-kai, with more than 400 included in the game.

It will also be possible to link save data to one of the three Yo-kai Watch 2 games to unlock one of three special Yo-kai, and more content will be added to Busters after launch, including new side stories, missions, Yo-kai, and bosses.

Yo-kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and White Dog Squad launch on 7 September.
