Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature every fighter in the series' history, and adds Ridley and Inkling as new playable characters.
The name of the new Super Smash Bros. game was announced during Nintendo Direct: E3 2018, as was the news that every fighter in the history of Super Smash Bros. will be playable - coming to about 60 fighters.
In addition to the previous announcement that Inkling is joining the roster, Ridley - who fans have been requesting for years - will also be playable.
Lucina and Dark Pit have been revealed to be echo fighters - alternate versions of primary characters - and Daisy has been confirmed as Peach's echo fighter, and thus will be playable.
The game will also support Nintendo GameCube controllers and all existing amiibo, while new amiibo for Ridley, Inkling, and Daisy will also be released.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on 7 December.
