Bethesda has released a new trailer of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Nintendo Switch, revealing amiibo functionality and Zelda-themed content for the first time.
Bethesda held its E3 presentation late on 11 June this year, and among the studio's announcements was a brand new trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which will make its highly-anticipated launch on Nintendo Switch at the end of the year.
Revealed in the trailer was amiibo functionality - the game will be compatible with any Link amiibo, and tapping one will make a treasure chest appear, with available goddies including the Master Sword and the Champion's Tunic most recently seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Skyrim's fact sheet also says that "other compatible amiibo" can be used to gain extra loot, although it's unclear at this time which amiibo this will include.
The Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim will include all three expansions - Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn - and will feature optional motion controls for swordfights, archery, and more.
