Nintendo has revealed three new amiibo that will be compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including the first amiibo to utilise moving parts.
Announced during Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3, the new amiibo will be compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, though exactly how they will function has yet to be revealed.
Link (Archer) and Link (Rider) are two new variations on Link, while Guardian is based on the guardians in the game, and is the first amiibo to have moving parts, as its large arms will be movable in the final version of the amiibo.
All three amiibo launch in 2017.
In addition, Nintendo has revealed that the Wolf Link amiibo can be used to bring Wolf Link into the game to help Link attack monsters and hunt for food.
If the amiibo has been used to complete the Cave of Shadows in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Wolf Link will have the same number as hearts as when the cave was completed.
