E3 2016: The Legend of Zelda subtitled Breath of the Wild

Nintendo has revealed that the brand new game in The Legend of Zelda series is called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and launches for Wii U and NX in 2017.

Revealed for the first time at the start of Nintendo's E3 2016 events, Reggie Fils-Aime introduced the stream, which started with a brand new trailer, which you can view below.

The game's final name is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and introduces Link as a true adventurer, reining horses to ride, scaling cliff faces, using stealth to attack enemies, cooking food, and much more besides.

New items were also shown in the trailer, allowing Link to control the elements in a new way, although this has yet to be elaborated on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be streamed live through Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 for much of E3 2016.
