Re:Legend, a project first seen on the Square Enix Collective portal, has been more than 900% funded on Kickstarter and will launch for platforms including Nintendo Switch in the future.

Re:Legend is a JRPG developed by Malaysian studio Magnus Games - the game's focus is on raising monsters, with other gameplay including fishing, farming, building, crafting, and more also to be included in the final product.

It originally had a goal of 70,000 Singapore dollars (£40,000), although the team was concerned that this would not be met and planned to lower it to 30,000 SIngapore dollars the day before the campaign went live.

However, those concerns were unfounded, as the campaign has ended with total funding of 630,700 Singapore dollars (£360,000), meeting all 13 of its stretch goals along the way - including console versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One alongside the original PC version.

No release timing has yet been confirmed for the game; the Kickstarter rewards have an estimated delivery date of June 2018, although this is likely to relate more to the PC version than the console versions, which were stretch goals.
