Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 coming to Nintendo Switch on 22 September

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch for Nintendo Switch worldwide in September, boasting new control options, six-player multiplayer, and playability with a single Joy-Con.

Following the announcement in January that a Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was in development, Bandai Namco has now confirmed that the fighting title will launch on 22 September in Europe and North America.

It will feature optional motion controls during gameplay, six-player local multiplayer matches, and the ability to play with a single Joy-Con, allowing two players to battle it out on one system.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch for Nintendo Switch on 9 September in Japan and on 22 September in Europe and North America, in both physical and digital formats in all regions.


Richmond, LONDON, 10th July, 2017: BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe confirmed today that DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 on Nintendo Switch will be launched on 22nd September in Europe. This new version will include exclusive features developed for the Nintendo Switch such as motion control option during the battles, local ad-hoc multiplayer up to 6, local battle with 2 Joy-Con and 1 system and the chance to play wherever you want.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 has been available since 28th October, 2016 in Europe, Middle-East, Australasia and Africa for the PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC.
