Nintendo has unveiled Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, an action-puzzle game developed by indieszero and due to launch for Nintendo 3DS next year.
Closing out the second day of E3 2017 with a surprise announcement, the Nintendo Treehouse team unveiled Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, a new game being developed by Nintendo and indieszero for Nintendo 3DS.
Described as a "conveyor belt sushi puzzle action" game, Sushi Striker tasks players with matching plates of sushi on a series of conveyor belts in order to hurl them at opponents and deal damage - larger combos will mean greater damage dealt.
indieszero will be best known to Nintendo system owners for their previous work on the NES Remix and Theatrhythm series of games, the latter of which has seen two Final Fantasy entries launch worldwide.
Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido launches for Nintendo 3DS in 2018.
